A Step In Faith

More than 30 years ago a small group of visionaries dared to create what has become The King’s University College that we cherish today---truly a step in Faith!

What started with a handful of faculty, staff and students has blossomed by God’s grace and provision, and the support of His faithful people, into one of the pre-eminent Christian post-secondary institutions in Canada.

For the last four years, The King’s University College in Edmonton has been a leader in its sector with a “top of the class” grade of A+ for Quality of Teaching in the Globe & Mail Canadian University Report. For several years running King’s has also ranked at or
near the top of national student satisfaction surveys reported in Maclean’s magazine. The lively, dynamic and nurturing learning environment at King’s is enhanced by the institution’s strong commitment to community service and faculty research.

King’s provides one of the most affordable, highest value Christian education experiences in Canada, but it is not without its challenges. Tuition and government grants only cover a portion of the actual cost of operating a university; almost 20 per cent must come from charitable donations.
